How many total gallons in the URS?

Maybe we could claim freshwater tanks as super hyposalinity treatment tanks.. Hey if Chris (acdranidrps) can crack the ice on his swimming pool, throw in a little salt and a few chunks of krill, can we can count it as a cycling tank

Well, I can put us over the 22,000 mark.
300G tank + 40G RDSB + 40 Sump + 50G Refugium = 430G + 21599 = 22029
I agree with Gary, we are far from done...

OK for more fun and some perspective when we think of our captive droplets as being like the sea.

25,000 gallons would provide the same amount of water change to a cubic meter(about the size of a 200gal tank) as it would get naturally in 36 minutes at the usual rate of a million gallons a day(694.4 per hour).Nature is really awesome.

I am looking at the amount of gallons and thinking the total cost of URS water changes

23000 gallons x 15% = 3450 gallons x the number of salt buckets / additives .......

yikes

Don't forget the EXTRA water changes thanks to what I like to call "The Reef Crystals Factor".....gotta give it some kind of fractional fudge factor.

Ok i will join in also..
8 Gal.Bio cube as of the moment but will have my 220 back up and running in a few months.. so: 22,688 + My 8(lol) = 22,696 But around May u can add an additional 300 to the total...

Thanks SI guy but I don't think with the economy being what it is we can do long term credit unless we get a bailout as part of the new so called economic stimulus. lol

Currently with my tank still in transistion I've got about 195Gal of SW I'm taking care of so
22696+195=22891
