How much does your LFS charge for a Haddoni?

Just wandering because I have not been able to find a decent Haddoni in an LFS around here that isn't going for an arm and a leg...

Found a nice medium size Green Haddoni today but it was priced at $179.99. I think that it's a bit extreme considering Liveaquaria charges $60.

Is it just a NJ over inflated price thing, or is this normal LFS pricing?

I don't get it....Then again they also want $199.99 for a "wild Rose Anenome"

It's weird how some things are outrageously priced in a certain store, but then they will have some things that are cheaper than other stores...

I feel like my grandmother who goes to 10 different stores when she goes grocery shopping :D

Ditto on the above prices...

You know I have been to some stores like that..

Sometimes they have a good reason, like they actually care about the fish and quarantine them and whatnot therefore charging more...

Other times they charge more because they can, I mean hey they are a business...

Just my .02

yeah they definitely have the healthiest livestock around...And often have pretty rare stuff...Just pricey

It depends where I go to how they're priced. I could find them for 40 ea. at one store, then hit another 30 miles away and they're 125. I guess it depends on how proud they are of 'em.

wow thats high . in and around philly they sell for about $50, sometimes between $40 & $75 the hidden reef (burnt down) used to sell blue's for $100-$125 . i rember seeing a red one there for $400 (was gone the next day) . i've been to many parts of the country were livestock $$ are very high at least by philadelphia standards . a very close lfs currently has some nice looking h.crispas blue tips/tan-yellow tent/yellow stalk.(sounds more like h. malu because of the yellow stalk but i'm almost pos. they are h. chrispa) for under $30 . i'm very tempted to get for my a. nigrips . i dont go to fish stores often , think i saw a few s. haddoni about a month ago at one of the chainstore pet shops .

Down here they are $40-$50 for greens, maybe a little less ($35) for drab striped ones. Blues are typically $60-$80. Reds are $120-$150. Those are decent "low" prices. You can aways pay more, but I tend to stay away from those LFS with the high prices :)
