how often/long does it take ricodea to split?

ive had a few rics for 4-6 months now and none are splitting. is this normal?

i try to feed them but that also doesnt work. they dont close around the food and eat it like i see in pics.

In my experience it usally takes about 6 months for them to get acclimated to your tank, and after that they start to grow and split fairly rapidly.

Perhaps, rapidly was the wrong word. A better word is "very slowly" begin to produce extra mouths and split.

mine produce extra mouths but seperate super slow, oranges with blue skirts and green mouths, lots of green mouths but they don't split very fast at all

I've never seen my pink one form different mouths, I just get new baby ones all around the large one.

mine never split it just grew small ones around the big one too
