How often should I feed?

I have had a Maroon Clown for A week now. I've been feeding him every other day. Is this enough? There are so many opinions out there, it's mid boggling! How often should he be fed?

My juvi clowns eat 2 times a day, mysis in the morning and pellets or flake in the evening. Not sure if once every other day is enough or not.

If it is small you might be better off feeding every day. But I normally feed my tank about 4 times a week, sometimes 5. Skipping a day every now and then isn't a bad thing, IMHO. Most (not all, but most) fish can even tolerate 2 days without food. It also depends on how mature your tank is and what other food they may find in there. My coris wrasse will eat anything it can dig up out of the sand bed, and I don't want it to, so I try to keep it pretty well fed.

My nano system is only few months old, I usually feed my fish includes a clown twice daily but try in controlled amounts, but also have filter feeders as scallop and duster, so more feeding at times going on. New system watch things and do water changes as needed. I turn pump off at least 10 minutes or more during the feed.

Food used a jellyfish fatty plankton, frozen brine, garlic flakes, last every other day lobster pellets for Emerald Crabs, use a long plant mover device as Crabs stay on the rocks, just making sure they eat.

I'm new to these modern procedures, learning daily. Have fun!
