how old do bangaiis have to be?

what the title says.
i have a small bangaii ill check to see if its a male or female in the morning, if its a male should i get a really large female and hope they breed
how long does it take for them to pair up, and then start popping out babies?
and can i keep a pair in a 20 gallon long? or maybe 2 pairs?

Banggai's can be aggressive towards each other if they are not a pair. Because of this I wouldn't recommend keeping 2 pairs in the same tank. I'm not really sure how old they have to be to start mating but it appears that some of the babies I hatched started mating about 8months to 1 year later.
