Hello all,
so Ive been trying to make shapes and more using SPS corals, specially the monti caps ...
in the past I have done mix of SPS and soft corals with great success, used to plant them on aquarium decorations ... like Xenia as hair for a skeleton
(I know childish, but many like it ... )
so now with SPS, I have the ISsue of them growing over each other, or the stronger one killing the others and taking over .... so was wondering if anyone has any Ideas as of how to limit the growth of a SPS ? or how to burn aline between them every couple of days, ?was thinking of some sort of acid, so I can take the piece out, and use a small Qtip to make bordered using acid to kill tht section, and let them grow it again before I repeat. (hope that made sense)
so wht chemical do you guys recommend ? HCL ? bleach ?
thanks in advanced, and I am not about to kill corals, please do not get this post wrong, I just want to set boundries between two monti caps.
