Is he locked up in a piece of coral? if so, just remove the whole piece. if not, then you may need a fish trap. I've seen people siphon them out as well but it sounds a bit cruel to me. Does it come out readily for food? If so, then I wouldn't give up on the net. Using flake food to draw fish near the surface and scooping them with a large net is how I removed some damsels from a 125 reef. Are the 2 acro skeletons still around? You could place them back in the tank, see if it inspects them and possibly remove the acro skeleton and it all at one time. To catch other fish that were curious to new pieces, I used to put a whelk shell in the tank, when the desired fish went in, the shell was removed with the fish in it.... that's all I got.
Good Luck
Mike
