What's up Wilson?

Looks good Krunchy. Usually OMs look like a mess.

More to come, i'm off to Houston for a few days but will be back at it next weekend!

Damn dude, looks awesome!

Makes me miss the tank! You could fit nearly 14 of my current sized tank into that beast

Lookin' good!

Wilson... :lmao:

Looks great so far...keep em coming....

You're good at pluming, Krunchy!

Thanks guys! I've been working on it more this weekend but didn't have my camera handy so i'll post more pictures this week as I finish things up.

Thanks Austin. I was just telling a friend of mine about the sucker^H^H^H^H^H^H *cough cough* I mean really nice guy that I got the tank from! :lol2: Seriously though, thanks again for the deal on this thing. I'm loving this tank more and more every time I get closer to getting water in it. Next time you get down to Chicago you'll have to head up to the burbs and check it out!

I think how you plumed the OM is the best way I've seen yet. Can't wait to see this complete!

Thank you, but I actually saw this on another person's tank so I can't take total credit for it! Using the 45's out of the OM to make it cleaner definitely works better than spa flex or other solutions that i've seen. Wait until I get the pictures up of the under side of the tank... it's kinda crowded down there and unfortunately the bulkheads are not in symmetrical locations so it's not quite as neat looking, but i'm still happy with it overall and managed to keep it clean under there.

I'm almost done with the Bottom OM plumbing now and i'm starting to fill the display. I almost had it done tonight except that I was missing one 1" 45. Figures. :( Here are a few pictures of the bottom side OM.

First off, the fill up!

And a few shots of the bottom OM. What a PITA to plumb! These things had better rock the party... Tunze's are so much easier. :lol2:

Yep, that would be me :wavehand:

Awesome job on the OM plumbing man, that's taking full advantage of all them holes for sure!

I'll be down there to drool at some point, don't you worry about that!

Hey Ed,
Dumb question......have you left enough room to service the OM units from the top if need be? Just curious.....cause the pictures dont really show if you have....

Nick

might also want to hook up that 4th output to your OM too while you're at it ;)

Always a heckler in the crowd, isn't there? I got the needed parts in, now to get the glue out and get busy... Right after I get back from my Boston vacation. :D

Not really. I left as much room as I could but it's probably not enough. I didn't have a lot of choice due to space restrictions. Good thing I used all of those unions. ;)

As long as you can get it out if need be....that Murphy guy is a jerk...

Nick

Murphy is definitely a jerk! All of those valves are removable/replaceable and the unions on either side of them give me access to remove the OM with a little effort. Good point though... i've seen a few OMs get plumbed in solid and THEN they realize that they need to be removable. :lol2:
