How to upload a video to my computer

What kind of a program do you have to have in your computer to download videos? I have one that came with my computer, but it doesn't recgonize the video, just the photos even though it says photos and videos.
I think I have to have it before photo bucket, right or wrong?
Now that I have learned how to use my digital camera to take videos, it would be nice to show them. TIA. Jan

Jan, the software should have come with the camera. While the program is open, save the file to your pictures. Open photobucket and upload the file from your picture files.

If you're using a pc, Windows Movie Maker will import the data. You can save it then and upload to Photobucket. You can also edit the movie after importing which might be desirable. Sometimes, not every second of a video is priceless.

Well I was looking through my camera book and low and behold, it shows how to do the job, so when I have patience and time I will try it. Thanks Jesse and Reef Bass, I'll give it a try. :wave:
