When I say a few drops, the only way I knew it was a leak was from the salt creep. I never saw a pool of water, only some salt creep around the back of the pump housing. I would brush it off once a week, and it stopped after the second or third week. (Again, this was the used pump) In the beginning, they had a different seal on the pump, now they have a specific salt water seal that is much better.
