Everyone,
I currently have an orange spotted filefish that suddenly stopped eating once she hit my DT. She declined to the point where I decided to put her back in quarantine.
It's been 2 days since she has been back into quarantine, has not eaten, is weak, and has declined to the point where I feel she is not going to make it. She is currently swimming like she is drunk and swimming in circles. I have done everything humanly possible to save this fish, but I am to the point of being realistic.
I don't want this fish to suffer, so what would be the most humane and quickest way to have this fish expire.
After the amount of time and effort I have spent caring for this fish...this is truly a heart breaking event.
