.....Yeah I've decided and got the go ahead from my girl to go barebottom on it..

This just begs for commentary.... but not from me.:x

Congrats on the new tank... Looks like the funs about to begin

ROFLMFAO>>> Yep Im working on the stand now the door need some work they don't like to open on there own to well but there getting better I'm hoping to paint the stand tommorow we'll see about that though...

I swear everytime I walk in the other room a cat is either in the tank or the sump or the stand...

Here ya go.. I forgot to take a picture of the canopy--I'm not a big fan of it and plan on building a new canopy soon though..

Im debating on painting the stand tommorow or not still.... I plan on plumbing everything tommorow(durso standpipe of course).OH yeah and working on cleaning out the inside of the tank

If you're "debating" on painting it, I would just do it. You may regret later for not doing it - especially since painting it shouldn't be too expensive. It's amazing what fresh coat of paint can do to the appearance of something.

BTW - congrat on the new tank!

Thanks Im stoked about it yeah I think I'll just scuff it up and paint it...I gotta fix the latches on it tommorow I spent a half hour adjusting the doors earlier on it to work right=)

Yeas I really apprciate it Ron thanks again,. Dave yeah it looks great a little work and it will look even better

Ok i just scraped all the coraline out of the tank and went ahead drilled some additional holes and slits in the top of it for powerhead etc...I'm not going to do a closed loop on it at this point because I want it to fit as flush to the wall as possible...The 135 takes up a bunch of the walking space through my hallway now and this tank and stand is about 7"wider

Well I got the Durso standpipe built today and Im taking down my 135 tommorow so I'm hoping to start putting water in this weekend
