i cant decide is my anemone sick? pics?

this has been baffling me if my anemone is sick. i ask because the inside looks pretty dark ....also does alk effect anemones?

after about 6pm he looks like

I'd say it's fine. But out of curiosity what are you feeding it? Sometimes feeding anemones too large a chunk of food will cause them to close up a little from time to time. It's as if they're expending too much energy trying to digest and expell the food.
 
I feed mine full silversides, big pieces of squid, and krill. He is about 10" wide and I feed him every 3 days
