I could not pull the trigger on a gold flake

I saw this at my LFS a couple of days ago.

Eventhough I really wanted it, I just could find myself to pull the trigger and pay over $600 for a fish.

I mean, just imagine what you could purchase for $600.

I wouldn't spend that much for a Goldflake. In the past 10-12 years I have bought a couple of them. They are great fish and I love them in my reef tank. There are some small juveniles (2") that came into LAX in the past couple of weeks. Growing one out is a pretty enjoyable experience.

Is this at That Fish Place? I was wondering why their price was so much more than over at Live Aquaria. I've bought freshwater fish there but no saltwater yet. I'm still getting my equipment together and stop there about once a week since it's only a twenty minute trip.

Winner, winner, yes it was.

I think it showed up right around the weekend of the Frag Swap they had there. I can't recall seeing it there for then. From a few days before the swap and about a week after they must of had a large shipment of fish, however some didn't look that great and there was some dead fish scattered though out the displays. I usually try to tell someone about the dead ones if they don't look to busy. The one guy I talked to thanks me. Some I feel as if I had bothered them. If it was my place, there would be someone making rounds everyone once in a while to check on the fish. It looked bad in there for about two weeks and made me think about getting fish from them. Not many places like it around here. Last week it looked great in there. All the fish looked happy and swimming around fine.
