I reached my hand in the tank last night, and it rubbed against the frogspawn. Its never stung me before, but yesterday it did, and it hurt. It itches like crazy and I got a bumpy rash from it. I know that if it was poisonous Id probably be a goner by now, but it still hurts and itches. Anyone been stung by one before, and have this same reaction? Should I go to the doc or put ointment on it?

Was it a sting or did you scratch your hand on the skeletal structure? I've never encountered such a situation... do you have a history of allergies - if so, you may want to seek medical assistance. Ordinarily I think what you are describing is highly unusual.

it isnt a scratch i have 3 red bumps on my forearm. It drew some blood, not alot but when i squeezed the part where it stung me some pus came out and you can see some blood.

I get stung by my frogspawn all the time. I get little red bumps like you that itch like crazy. It goes away in a day or two. Try some anti-itch cream.

not a bad idea to wear gloves. any tiny opening in the skin is a way in for bacteria, and allergic reactions to coral and fish toxins are posted from time to time.

If you are getting sensitive, definitely gloves. Allergies can come of repeated exposure, then the dose that tips it over the edge, and it can get so bad you have to wear over-the-elbow gloves just to reach in the tank with the chemicals in the water: those things float and are a pita to use.

For your own protection, get some medical examination gloves (supermarket or drugstore) and use those: you have the sense of touch and can pick up a dime in them, but they will prevent further stings and sensitization. It's also kinder to your corals: their tentacles glide over that surface.
