I got to see the eggs hatch and babies swim around!!

Hey guys, thought I'd share that I was able to actually witness the hatching of my black ocellaris first clutch of eggs last night! Happened about 2AM. Amazing is all I can say! I watched the little buggers swim, I should really say 'be blown' around the tank for about an hour before I grew too tired to keep my eyes open.
I'm definately going to set up a small rearing tank for the second or third clutch.
I wish I could have taken pics, but with my little Sony cyber-shot, there was just no way.

That's great! Hope you have those rotifers growing! It took me two starter cultures before I got the hang of rotifers.

I hope I get to see that at some point. I'm not planning on raising them tho.

The rotifer breeding thing makes me nervous. I've read up a bunch, and it doesn't 'sound' all that hard to do, but I know its always more difficult than ones first impressions.
I'll be ordering a culture from that place in Florida this week once I get the 10 gallon set up.

Cool! I've never witnessed a hatch, it's always just a morning-after for me: "Hey there were eggs here YESTERDAY .... oh."
