I just picked it up I am trying to get a picture so that you all could help me tell which it is. It has some nice purple coloring to it. Pictures in a minute.

Here is a picture of it dripping. What do you all thing it is? I was told it is a Gig but I don't know.

oops here's the picture

Looks haddoni but hard to tell from the picture. Can you give a closer up shot of the column just under the oral disc? If it has colored spots that means its a gig. Also a top down of the oral disc would be nice for fun.

Thanks. I'll work on getting a picture asap. It is shrunk up really tight does that matter for the dots?

Here is another close up shot. He is in my DT now and getting up right. I'll update with some pictures of that soon.

Do you guys think this thing will color up? It has a neon green mouth is that any indication of what color it will end up?

How well he will color up depends on what condition he was in and how well you can take care of him.
What I can tell you is that Gigantea cost a lot more than Haddoni, at least here is Corpus Christi. If the LFS charge you a Gigantea price for that Haddoni, then you should complain.

I wouldn't expect it to color up more than it is, unless you do something like change your lighting drastically, say from halide to LED for example, where it may change color, or appear to do so. Mouth color is not an indicator of overall color. Haddoni sometimes have yellow or red mouths (aka "lipstick") but can have oral discs that are red, blue, purple, green, or brown -- or any combination of those. If the nem was bleached, I might say it would color up, but in this case the nem is not bleached.

I bought if for a basement seller/friend. It's about 8" and I paid 40 bucks. To much? I'm not to concerned. I picked out the one with the tightest mouth not the best color. I'm thinking I should have got a brighter one. Fast reply as well! Thanks.

Thats a good price I just picked up one the other day from a local lady moving to Florida for $50 its a little over 12". I say enjoy it, if you cankeep it alive and tank space allows then add a brighter colored one. I've always wanted a red one.

You should not move him to the rock. Haddoni stay on the sand. Your substrate is a little shallow where he is tight now. 3+ inches would be better.
