I need to get a CUC- anyone want to order together? Where to order?

I organized a CUC order last year so it is not my turn.

I could always use a few things. I like Trochus Snails the best and can use a few more.

There are others but I have ordered from these two and was happy, neither has Trochus snails though.

I have also ordered from Premium Aquatics and ReefHotspot.

I would be in depending on where you order from.

Just to make sure did you check the "Bulk prices" section of their website?

Also if you get a few people and the order starts to get big, you can let the people at reeftopia know it is a group buy and they can package things separately for you. For example if four people are each getting 12 snails, they will send you 4 bags or 12 instead of one bag of 48. Makes life easier. I may have a credit with them that I can let you use as part of the group buy. I have to check to make sure it did not expire.


A few tips:

1) Only take checks from people you know are reliable.
2) Make sure people can pick things up in a timely manner so you don't have to "store" livestock.
3) Be careful that you don't get stuck with a fish or invert that is expensive and you can't keep in case some deadbeat says he/she wants something and then never picks it up.

I won't cause a problem but you know where I live anyway

Hi Dave,

I don't think this'll be too big since I'm only giving people until Sunday night. I have to have the order in Monday morning since I'm leaving town on Thursday.

I will ask them to separate them (I'll request by e-mail and phone.)

I can leave anyone's stuff in the bag until they can get here unless I have to open the bag, and then I would have to acclimate them to my holding tank. Pick-up will be Tuesday evening, or, at the very latest, Wednesday if you need me to hold them- I will not guarantee that they live through my acclimation, though.

If we end up with enough of something to make Bulk reasonable I will change to bulk prices. For info, my order is:

- Live Sand, 2 lb
- Snail Star, 1
- Snail Turbo, 12
-Red Grape Caulerpa
-Hermit Small Blue Leg, 24
-Snail Cerith, 12

Just got the reeftopia order and Dave is on his way soon. Everything survived the shipment and the water doesn't feel too cool. I'm drip acclimating now- I'll let everyone know how it looks. Only gripe is the live sand is very course (pebbles, not sand.)
