I ordered 3 Al Vegas for my 220 Gallon Tank am I gonna be happy

My 220 gallon currently has two dividing braces on the top of the tank so I went with 3 Al Vegas by Salty Supplys advice saying that a 4th light would have blocked out light from the braces. I was originally going to go with 3 Radions however I now longer have a laptop anymore and I feel it's absolutely rediculous that you have to program your lights with a laptop but you can't with a cell phone or tablet so they lost out my question now is am i going to have enough lighting.

It a god lampu bought.
I used to have 6 Radions, but after 6 months all of them broke down.

And I talk to many with same problem....

I was considering the same lights for my 210g but decided against them after seeing some not so great par and coverage numbers. I dont think they have what it takes for a 30" deep tank

The only good thing is it's a brand new tank and no coral are being transferred so i'm hoping i'll have enough to hold me over to possibly add a 4th light if needed or upgrade the Vegas to a better model if they make something different

i have 5 on 96x24x25 and i am happy. coverage is great. i am assuming ur 220 is 72x24 if so u will be just fine with 3.

How deep is your tank? I bought two vegas and two sol. The Vega are really not very good at penetrating deep tanks, but excell in spread of light, unlike the spotlight look yo get with Sols.If you have no coral, could you go with the sol? They now offer an upgrade kit for them as well.

Should have asked if you plan to keep corals or is this fowlr? I really doubt 3 vega's are going to penetrate to 30" deep.. I haven't used them myself but I passed on a great deal on 3 of them after doing quite a bit of research... Look at the par graphs available... Not that par is everything but you barely have any par at 24" never mind 30"..

Well i called back salty Supply today and bit the bullet and order 3 Radion Gen 2 and canceled the Vega order thanks for all the help guys
