So i was acclimating a new pogoda i got and wet to move the frag plug from the sand bed to the rock.i pulled the little guy out of the sand and this weird little (and i mean little) serpent or brittle star shaped guy came out with it.i was pretty shocked in not having seen him in my tank for 6 months and didnt even think to try and catch him.He was maybe 1/8 in. or less with smooth white translucent legs and a baby blue body.and he didnt slide across the sand he ran!!!!!any how i did QT the pogoda so i dont think it came in on him, the only star ive ever had is my SS star. good, bad or the ugly?none of my corals seem to have been munched on.i suppose i have 2 questions here
1what on earth is this guy?
2. i would like to catch him but how?

i know these threads are probably annoying for the experienced i just havent seen a smooth legged brittle or serpant in any pics i found online. just wondering and dont want to let a bad guy go unchallenged :smokin:

I've got some mini brittle stars in my tank and they cause no problems and are useful scavengers. They came in a hitchhikers on some liverock.

Unless it gets big and starts causing problems, don't worry about it.

The coloring of yours sounds pretty cool. Mine are just plain brown.
