I think my BTA is about to split

Well, in preparation for my vacation, I think my RBTA has decided it would like to split. I am not sure, but all the signs are there. It looked awful this morning, now it has moved its foot such that it is on two different rocks, and is stretching SOOOO much, the mouth is quite oblong. I am almost sure it'll happen tonight.

Now, part of me wants this to happen. I mean, this RBTA is at least 9" in diameter when fully stretched. HUGE! But, i'm leaving on vacation soon, so won't be able to do anything to help it if it dies, it could easily nuke my whole tank. :/ Oh, the horror.

So, i'm in wait and see. I've taken a few shots, and i've got a guest with a better camera that should be back soon who might be able to take some shots, too.

After it started splitting, it took about an hour. Obviously, this starts at the end. Sorry for the backward timeline, its like putting it back together

My poor clownfish are not sure what the deal is, they haven't chosen an anemone.

As for conditions, last week I did a 10g water change and added a bunch of carbon and phosphate media, but otherwise, nothing different. All looks well for the other corals. I think this guy was just ready to split, it did get VERY large.

Thanks for the compliments. It was great seeing the whole split right up front since it didn't go into hiding to do it. I know, I couldn't get photobucket to generate the code in the correct timeline and I wasn't going to cut-n-paste each photo, so, it's fusing

ogre, for feeding I just did the usual, silversides, and actually probably averaged 1-2 times per week with 1/2 a silverside. As for the black clown, he was purchased from Tyler at Dolphin Pet Village.

Still just two this morning, they're pretty good sized, and both look well
