ick on healthy fish?

hi quys i just want to make one ? before i start
a boring process

i have a tank for almost a year.
7 chromis
3 dispar anthias
1 doctor
1 sixline
1 foxface
1 decora

they where healthy until i introduced the fish i've been waiting for so long,a gold rim

i'm sure you know what happened

in 3 days time he was full of ick and died
all the other guys are still clear but now it's official that ick is in my tank

so if i take out everyone in a qt with hypo or copper will the unsight(to my eyes) ick they carry,die?

does hyppo or copper kill the ick that they just carry and not show?

You tank will likely be ich free if it has been fishless for eight weeks.

Ich that is on the fish will become vulnerable to treatment once they drop off the fish and re-emerge as a part of the lifecycle. It is a obligatory process. Ich does not have a long and uncertain duration of dormancy.

so if the healthy fish in qt don"t drop off the ick they carry it will remain on them
and have it in the dt even after the qt period!

Obligatory means that life has to go on for ich. So it will have to drop off a fish as a part of its lifecycle.
