ID needed

This little guyis is a hitch hiker. He came in on my Florida live rock. His disk is about the size of the quarter.

In the photo it is at the base of the rock.

I think it's really cool. It started out about as big around as a #2 pencil and since Feb. it's grown to a quarter. The tenticals are green and the disk matches the sand.

I do like it, but I wonder if it isn't doing some chemical warfare. My gbta is not doing as well. So once I find out what it is, I may want to sale it.

If you are worried about chemical warfare, do a water change and throw in a large bag of new carbon. That should make a good improvement if it is a chemical issue.

I do a 15% water change every other week, and run phosban and chemi pure elite. So may be I'm good and don't know it?!

I would realy just like to know what kind of nem it is.

Well ive researched quite a bit for this one but not finding many promising leads. Best guess is its a juvie of a well known species but it isnt large enough to manifest certain characteristics.

Possible:
Juvi Rock anemone

Wharty Sea Anemone

Mexican wart anemone/Bunodactis mexicana

Discosoma carlgreni

But its like throwing darts at a board. Best solution is probably to talk directly to florida liverock. Richard at Tampa Bay Satwater a sponsor might also have an idea.
