ID please, a snail

this is something that came as hitchiker. they are smallish (~4mm) and reproduce in the tank. they cause no trouble at all.

thanks. i think that you are right.

these things lay cocoon-enclosed egg masses on the glass and other surfaces. i was actually lucky to watch the velliger larvae emerge from one of them with magnification--very cool.

Do you know the origin of your live rock that it hitchhiked on?
