ID this SPS / could this be a montipora?

I received this SPS that was labled as a Montipora. I do have Monti but nothing like this. It is brown with a blue tint on the edges. If you take the thick tall branches away it could pass for a monti cap with the polyops coming out.

Thanks CMcNeil, I was thinking the same thing from my coral book. The the only difference is that I have not seen those fuzzy stingers coming from the bodies during the day and night as far as I can seen.

This is a weird one. I am going to try to take a better photo

OK what about porites family called the Jeweled coral ( porites nigrescens). it encrusting base with rise thick branches. It also has that same tecture. i am going to read more.
 
blue ridge coral- Heliopora coerulea

the give away is the blue tint on the edges... actually has a blue skeleton underneath the "flesh" of the coral... looks better dead than alive IMO :) but still a very neat coral
