I looks like this thread has been dormant for a while, but are there any plans to pursue this? I would be very interested. I tried taking pictures of my tank with my grandfathers thousand dollar cannon digital SLR and it looks like a 4 year old took them with a disposable.

As worthwile as a good photog website can be, there is something to be said for a good hands on session. Especially in this day and age of digital where there can be instant feedback and learning. Not to mention the good time of just getting together

Don't know if this will happen soon @ a meeting but if you are going to NERAC this is one of the topics being discussed.
Anthony Calfo will give us all the why's and wherefores of digital photography. THEN you will have plenty of time for practice on the tanks @ Atlantis. BONUS!!! Anthony will be around if you mess up or have more questions. How Can You Beat That?
