We're in the process of buying a house in Kenmore. We're really excited about the new place, but I'm dreading the tank move.

What's worse is that a basement sump is about 15th on the priority list for things that need to be done.

does anyone have any tank moving advice?

Move your fav/high end corals to another tank, (a friend or something), this might make your tank move a little less stressful

Getting ready for an Open House as we speak. My plans for moving include a huge rubbermaid stock tank. Just gonna put everything in there with a light and set up a small frag tank with frags of my favorite corals just in case there's a catastrophie. Once we're moved in and settled, I'll be able to rebuild my tank in a much lower pressure situation. That way it'll get done right.

I think if you rush it, chances for errors are much greater. Most fishes and corals should tolerate a temporary situation. BUT I'd say set up your RO/DI FIRST!!! Freshly made water in massive amounts should give you the back up you'll need in case of any number of mishaps.

Gratz on the House Ben ... If I can help in any way with your tank move let me know, you are pretty close to me..

Congrats Ben! If you need any help, feel free to call- you've got my number. Priority #15 can easily move down on the list! ;)
