IN WALL tank backgrounds?

What do all of you use for your in-wall tank backgrounds? I am having a real problem with this. I tried making an acrylic background painted with the same paints weatherson used on his but when I put the background up to the tank, the color is coming out a really really dark blue/green color. I really want to be able to remove the background because its impossible to see where you are putting stuff without being able to see into the tank. If anyone has any ideas or advice, please help!

Its nice as I can take it down with the velcro and clean the back glass. Not very heavy and looks great. I like it much better than a painted background.

Cost $20

stlouisguy, where did you get that at?

dido that. I'm putting a 210 in my wall and need to cover three side. What is that?

Why not try some window tint, like they use for cars. I used some on my 210 and it worked great at blocking out the sump room while still allowing me to see inside from the back and to clean the glass easily.

I use a 1/8 inch piece of plywood the nice kind usally oak or something that has no knots from hd or lowes I sanded it smooth and painted blue on one side black on the other so I can change it if i get bored with one color
