Incredible!!! Zilla 3!!

wow!!!

That thing is huge!! It also got built fast! I am sorry I couldn't make it out there...had to work as usual.

Did he have a RCSD set up, or was it just lift tubes? I can only see two lights over the tank in that pic, did he have any more?

What kind of exhaust system did he have in place to avoid the pitfalls of the old "Mr 4000"?

Thanks,

Nookie

With all the water evaporating form the tank, aren't you worried about mold problems...or do you have a special ventilation system built for it?

There are "just lift tubes" on each side. The videos show one side running but the system will allow a schedule of alternating I believe four times a day to mimic tides. There are also two RCSD (4 inch PVC) that were not in operation during our visit.
The two lights in the picture are 1000w MH and he had just received I believe 8 400w MH to be installed over the reef section.

Yes the tank was incredible!

I just have more to dream about now!

Again, Kevin, Thank YOu!

It was realy nice of you to share with us.

It was nice to meat some of you in person.

Thanks again all and I look forward to seeing all of you again.

I had the same problem. It might be XP SP2 beta causing it though. It was opening the file as a Text File.

Go to windows update to make sure you have the latest media player.

Right-click on the file and go to "Save As"

Below the name of the file, change it from "Text Files" to "All Files"

type ".wmv" after the name of the file

Save the file where you can find it and then run it from that location.

Open Windows Media Player.

Click TOOLS >> OPTIONS >> FILE TYPES

Make sure that Windows Media Audio/Video File is checked...

What is very cool about it is all of the bubbles that the lift tubes generate. Very much like snorkeling, say Piopu, with a lot of surge and all. So where is the 300g surge tank??? The real problem is I just ordered my 3 Lumenarc III reflectors last Friday and now seeing those in action, I CAN HARDLY WAIT. Nice job Darrin...better you than me! MM

WOW!
Too cool.
I am in St. Louis too, but not a member of SEASL yet.
I just set up an in-wall 180 and Z3 makes mine look like a 10g nano just by looking at the pics.
Stunning to say the least. Nice job to all involved.

P.S. I showed my wife the vids/pics and told her that I am going to set up Z4 in the basement of our next house.

Her reply.........."THE HELL YOU ARE!"
:)

Sorry guys...

As of 8:04 AM Central Time 4/13/04, I had to remove the videos due to exceeding my allowable bandwidth.

The pictures should still work, but the videos were just too large. I have had over 3500 requests to view the videos - that's a lot!

Thanks for understanding.

Anyone wanting to support the "Video Bandwidth Project", please PM for donation information...

This is the first time I have ever exceeded my bandwidth allowance!

Keep swimming!!!
