info

rogergolf66

im an addict lol
I have looked everywhere and can't find this. I just bought what I thought was 2 6060 powerheads with the 7094 controller

and instead I got 1 6100.10 and 1 7240/2 powerhead and the 7094 controller.

I am trying to figure out if they are the same or what. I was told this would be about 7,000GPH from him is this true?

any info links or anything would be great. I didn't see it on Tunze.com or on a google search :(

Thanks In advance

Roger

6000(top speed 1900gph) and 6100(top speed 3100gph approx) pumps were the predecessors to the 6101 which replaced both models, would need to know the part number on the hockey puck transformer to know which is which. The 7210.202 is the one for the 6000 the 7410.602 for the 6100.

The 7240 I am not as familiar with flow numbers and if the model number is correct or if just the moter block number but being a "standard" powerhead flow will be less than the other you got. In the end the upside is that the 6060 pumps you expected to get are not controllable and would not have worked with the controller

thanks for the info.

Well I cleaned them up and got them working tonight.

all I can say is holly Tunze. WOW

Thanks Roger

It sounds like somebody had a 7400/2 which used the 7240.015 motor and they converted it to a 6100. The motors were the same except the sticker so there is nothing wrong with doing this.
