real simple, just air and light. 18 on 6 off. Stir it a couple times a day to keep it from settling.

I started with a water bottle and have about a gallon now in two batches.

I have it under some old t8s i had lying around with very heavy airflow

Maybe someone should take over PMASI and re-kick it off. There's already a lot of buzz now that Acer rekindled the interest. As for the August meeting, my wife is due with our first sometime between the 17th and 24th. So August will be a likely no for me. Sept may be a possibility.

OK we have 9 "hope to attends" , a maybe, a few no contacts and a few cant make it.

So far - from what I can see of the "hope to attends" we have .

- 5 from the north hills area = Myself, SVtour, VLangel, wbwhale,Jrambo88
- 1 further north in Kittaning is Misled
- 1 from South of the city - MondoBongo
- 1 from east of the city =DSMcl
- 1 From west of the city - actually Ohio = beachguy

So, based on this list the "get together" should be in the north hills, easy access for east and west via the turnpike.

Sorry Mondo - it is a pain to get here from where your located - at least at 4 pm on a Sunday there should not be bad traffic . When you get your new tanks up and running we should have a meeting at your new place - no pressure.

Please feel free to comment, etc. - nothing is written in stone yet.

If no changes the next get together will be somewhere on Rt 8 - close to the turnpike entrance. Open for locations - we met at Eat N Park last month- but no alcohol. Decent coffee though. Need input from those people what will attend to make final decision on location.

OF the 8 people that are hoping to attend- is alcohol important or not? For me it is not.

IF a majority wants to have alcohol we can switch the meeting place- but as of now - I guess the Eat N Park on Rt by the Turnpike exit seems to work.

i should be good to go on the 16th. i'll have to let you know for sure closer to. i'm hoping to have the tank fully migrated by then, and be about done with the old place.

i moved about half my corals, and my clownfish, over to the new tank over the last two days. still gotta get the rest of my fish, corals, and equipment. what a freaking job.

i did move this bad mofo yesterday. this is actually two different colonies that grew out from little ~1" frags over the course of about 18 months.

plenty of red and purple monti chunk around as well. hopefully these all survive the move, and i can hand some out at the meet.

there was a decent amount of breakage, but not as bad as i had feared. these acros are pretty much grown together and completely intertwined at this point, so it was actually far too large to fit in a 5 gallon bucket. i ended up using a small Styrofoam cooler lined with a huge plastic fish bag.

for anyone i owe frags to, assuming that at least some of these survive, with any luck they will be ready around the 16th:

Dave here, I'm in IT Security, so my schedule varies widely as I'm always on call.

I can never guarantee a time, but am pretty open to location. I too think adult beverages are a good idea.

OK - well, There are a few restaurant/bars within a few blocks of the Eat N Park. So if the majority of people coming want a beer then we will set that up before the "get together" or even change depending on who shows up when we meet at the eat N park.

FWIW, I don't do bars, and avoid them at all costs. Please don't let that change anyone else's decision. I can miss a meet once and a while.
