Hi everyone i just ordered a PLA-1011 PLM-PWC to connect my mitras to my profilux. My question is do i add this to my profilux 3 or expansion box?
thanks
Michael

Percula, got a question for u or anyone who can answer this that has experience. Once card is installed, do i have to plug mitras into computer to program anymore? Can i just plug in profilux box to computer and program the mitras through the profilux itself?

Im asking cuss my mac with windows parallel works with profilux but not mitras. So im thinking getting the card to have the mac program the profilux -> mitras.

You can program light program's and load them to the lights ( profilux is the master )

Any changes you have to make to the lamp, you have to plug in the lead and do it to each lamp in question.

Don't forget to make all lamps slaves as the master is now the profilux.

I am compltly confused. I thought the purpose of this card was to adjust the light wirelessly and using just the profilux. Is this not the case? And if so what's the purpose of this card? The only reason I bought it was so that the profilux could control it wirelessly and I could see it when using the profilux app in my iPhone.
Please advise

You can, you do all this in profilux control, you have to use the lead from the lamp to make generic changes to each lamp.

To adjust the light wirelessly, you have to go back into composer, change the imput you need to, save it to lamp ( all done wirelessly).

To change something like, master output, fan temp etc, you do this by the lead.

I'm confused too that why I asked this question. So let's say I already ha e the lamps all set up as slaves etc... So once it's connected to profilux, my question is that can I make a program and adjust lighting schedules and such and never have to plug into the mitras? So can I just plug the profilux to my comp and load the lighting program and such into the profilux and let it control the light?
My mac will not work with the mitras, so I'm trying to program lights by profilux and never having to plug in the mitras directly to computer, which won't connect.
I'm buying a new profilux package and I'm trying to see if I should buy the mitras wireless card or not? Is it worth it, and will it do what I need, which is to bypass having to plug in the mitras to program, my Mac will work/connect with profilux controller, so I can make a light program and load onto profilux, just not onto the mitras directly.
Thanks for the tips, just still kinda confused as to if mitras will work without having to plug it directly to commuter to load lighting program.

I understand that to change master, fans etc, I do it with mitras directly either by lead or on the light itself, in my case I do it on the light itself.

But I'm confused, once I make lighting program in composer, don't I load the program onto the profilux computer now? Since it's the profilux that is the "master" light contoller? Because I can not connect to mitras by computer, I need to be able to program lighting schedule and such on computer and load it onto the profilux only since that's the only thing that my computer will connect to.

Sorry for hijacking your thread percula, I just figured this is realavent to your thread as well. Thanks

"Local" settings, like energy options or wireless mode (e.g. master or slave) can only be done on the Mitras itself over a direct connection.

If you have a Profilux with PLM-PWC, which is automatically the master, plus one or more Mitras LX as slave, you have to do all illumination settings on the Profilux.
Profilux broadcasts these settings, the Mitras follows them.

Yes, write your lighting program in the composer,

Transmit illumination run to illumination channels,

Clip save changes.

I then save the program's in a folder on the desktop named light progs, if you need to open a different saved program, go to project at the top of page, open and select the program you want.

If this isn't what you need to know, just say and I'll help more ok :twitch:

Hello everyone,

here is my project and no matter what i do the profilux will not allow me to load it. it keeps saying more then 12 set pints.

Can the GHL team help me load this project ? Can we have a walk through on this as i spent months on this project and trying to get the same color spectriums back would take way to much effort.

please let em know and yes i have the wirlless card already installed and mitras set as slave.

let the programing begin :)

Michael
