Intercept question(Red bugs are gone)

Not sure the proper place to post this question, however im sure someone in here will know.

I treated my tank for red bugs and they are all dead. Of course as the title suggests I used intercept.

Now, I know I was supposed to remove all my shrimp and hermits before hand. Well in a 300G SPS tank thats not exactly an easy thing to do so I left them be.

Thank was treated a week ago this Saturday. Did a 30% water change on the tank and im running carbon super heavy.

How long do i need to wait before trying to reintroduce hermits and shrimps to the tank? Im surprised by the fact my clams didnt care at all.

Did you only do one treatment? I would do 2 more treatments, one week apart to make sure you get rid of them. From what I understand, interceptor does not kill the eggs, so you have to wait till they hatch to kill them. Normally it is 3 treatments total and no more redbugs. To answer your o.p. question, I waited 2 weeks to re-introduce crabs and shrimp, and had no problems

Unfortunately I was lucky enough to only get one round of treatment. It didn't kill all my hermits but made them rather lathargic. Kinda dopey the just craw in circles and go in and out of their shell. What about sea hares?

1 treatment may not be enough. I've thought I had cleaned up red bugs in the past only to find them come back months later. I would try to get your hands on couple more doses

As we all know, it's off the market. Wha we have left I have to keep at the store in the event of an outbreak in our mother colony system.

Good news is I saw my emerald crabs out and eating. Figured they would have died too.

Interceptor spectrum and sentinel have been proven to work and are quite available... I'd suggest another treatment before reintroducing.

Are they just as safe as the original?

All indications point to them being safe, though reports on crab and shrimp survival vary

I really appreciate everyone's input on this. It's been almost 2 weeks since treatment and I have see no reemergence of red bugs. However my crabs are still acting super weird. Hermits anyways.

speaking from experience. One treatment isn't enough, you don't see it now but they will come back. I tried one treatment and they came back months later, so i tried another round, they came back later. Third time i did 2 treatments within a week of each others and i haven't seen them in over a year.
