Was reading a great book called The Sixth Extinction and they talk about Coral reefs having certain saturation points. Prior to the industrial revolution the aragonite saturation was between 4 and 5 and they are estimating that by 2060 we'll be around 3.5. Growth stop's at 3 so hopefully they think of something quickly! Would be a sad world when the only reefs left are the ones in our houses.
