What are you wanting to use this for?

As long as it is sw safe you shouldnt have a problem but i wouldnt submerse the pump with those wires

Bilge pumps are not designed to run 24/7. They can do long duty cycles and may run 24/7 for some time, but why risk it? Also, some non-aquarium pumps have oils inside them for better life expectancy. But if it ever leaks, you have an oil slick in your reef. Stick to aquarium or pond pumps.

K thats why i asked! Thanks guys. And i was going to use it for a sump pump, but i will just get an aquarium pump, hard to tell what you can DIY and when you need to spend $$ on "aquarium" products
