Would it be 'inhumane' to have an A. Ocellaris in a 8 gallon tank?

The folks in the 'nano cube' section say it would be fine.

I am sceptical. What is the opinion here?

Thank You In Advance :-)

Well as I look across my room at my huge female Ocellaris, I cannot imagine her in an eight gallon...

I would think maybe a small pair of percs would be a humane way to go though..

Lots of people keep ocellaris broodstock in 10gal tanks.

Good Point.

Thanks!

clowns often do not wander the reef. They just stay at their anemone. I don't think enclosed in a small space is a bother to them, not like other fishes.

I had a true percula in a 10g. for a long time after my tank crashed. He never complained.

I would suggest giving it something to host in. NOT AN ANEMONE!
Maybe a mushroom, or even a broken terra cotta pot.

Good Luck!!!
