is prime supposed to smell horrible?

Hi,

I noticed my bottle of prime smells horrible. I dont know if it's supposed to have a very bad smell, like concentrated gasoline (I cant think of anything it actually smells like, but closest to that)?

it's about a 2 year old bottle. Maybe 3???? does it expire. I'm going to guess yes .

Yep. That's prime for you. Smells like a cross between a chem lab using sulphur and a restroom that needs airing.

Mine was that old too and the smell was just terrible. I threw it out.

yeah, I woudl have noticed this smell before.. it's horrible. I need to really rinse it well oif the filter socks I bleached. I guess shelf life is really a year to be totally safe.

It does now.. but I'm sure now it didnt smell this volatile and putrid when I first got it.
