Is there any hope?

A week ago my my tiger tail cucumber came out of a hole went over my anenome into another whole and pulled some of the anenome along with it. I have done 2 10 gallon water changes and added carbon to the tank. The anenome has almost no tentacles. The area were the tentacles were first falling of is starting to get little bumps. One of them is getting a little green dot. My clownfish is still swimming in it and was spending some extra time in there.



Any advice on what I should do will be appreciated. Can anenomes regenerate their tenticles? Is my anenome already dead?

I would remove the clown,it is doing more harm than good.The clown will actually love an anemone to death.Try seperating the clown from it for awhile.Is the anemone eating.

The cucumber came back to finish the job. He ended up ripping the disk off the foot. He is now eating the anenome. It's hard to see because he is in a cave. He is fat, it looks like a snake eating a mouse.

Any chance of the anenome making a comeback? Can it regenerate it's disk?

The pink dot on the top right is the foot and mouth.

You can see some of the anenomes tenticles comming from under the cucumber. My clown is still trying to get to it.

I have never heard of sea cucumber eat an anemone.
