is this a baby green carpet?

Hope it turns out to be impressive for you. I don't understand why someone would collect that little guy though. May I ask what you paid for this unknown ?

Is that the bottom of a larger carpet anemone that it is attached to?

This is one of a red haddoni's babies, the bottom of that plastic container is 2.5" diameter:

I can't seem to find the pictures, but will post when I found them. Any ways, good luck and please up date and share your info.

What ever happened with the potential baby carpet?

Shutiny Do you have any other pictures of the youngsters all grown up?

I am on my iPad N it is not accepting image code but the pictures are in my photo bucket album:s142.photo bucket.com/albums/r111/shutiny/. Then, go to page 41, N the mom N new born pictures are located half way down. Mom is in a plastic container right before the baby was released.

Sadly Im sure it's now just a Yuma, the fluro green isn't as nice now sorts just your basic ric. It's probably around an inch across now. Bit of a pity it wasn't something more exciting.

Thanks for the confirmation Gig. I did not think it was a carpet, but didn't have any proof to share. I have yet to see photos, but the verbal descriptions I have gotten are that baby carpets all have developed tentacles. They are described as looking like hydras.
