Is this a starfish?

I was admiring my aquarium tonight and this creature jumped onto the glass right in front of me and moved about in the way that you see starfish moving.

It certainly looks like a baby starfish to me but I wondered if it could be some other kind of creature that stowed away on something I recently added to my tank.

It was about 1/2 " from end to end.

Can anyone tell me if this is a starfish or what else it may be?

Thanks for the reply...Sean from the Rhino Club!? My husband and I met in Wilmington NC and frequented your club in our dating craze (with one another). As I recall you have an impressive tank in the club yes? We'll be visiting in July...perhaps we'll stop in for a drink
