Hey everyone i just bought this RBTA.

I put him in the tank where he is in the picture and 4 hours later he looks like this.

Now its odd to me because my blue lights were on and he isnt retracted and i dont think he is dieing because they normally would retract and slime everywhere right? So does anyone know whats happening?

My water params should be pretty well perfect, my salinity is 1.023. The temperature is the only thing thats high at 85, im working on bring that down at the moment, but thats all i can think of.

Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.

Looks unhappy at the moment but not during, they are weird and can take a couple days to look normal after they find the spot they like.
How old is the tank?

It isn't unusual for a newly introduced BTA to look like that. But if it deflates like that regularly it is most likely sick and needs treatment.

I've had my bubble tip for 4 years and it occasionally will deflate usually after I feed it.
