Is this the exciting future of Live Rock? Must See!!!

No kidding, everyone even tried to drop this and move on but the troll remains... Can we please get a cleanup crew for the garbage newcomers will now have to wade through and moderator to dispatch the annoying fly that has been buzzing around us...

I don't even like live rock, and I'm embarrassed at the turn this nice little thread took.
Seems like there's a lot of not-quite-a-troll posts lately, maybe there's a Colombus day liquor sale on or something.

I've disagreed with a great many posts on this forum, and had my share of arguments. I have been infracted on this forum, for getting het up. I have not been, nor seen anyone else be scolded, "moved on" or edited for not ascribing to the popular opinion. I want to think it's nice that people of good will can disagree on nutrient export, or cycling time, or whether it's better to start a tank with dry or love rock. But this guy is making me question that.
Sigh - good job troll, hardly the best use of your time I would think

I'm still super jealous of TBS rock lol I'm happy that I started with all dry rock but jeez nothing compares to the amount of life TBS rock has. If i knew about this before I baught my dry rock I would have made a purchase.

Beautiful TBS Rock!

LIke hay let's talk about this: dry or not if we keep getting rock that started in the sea as coral then we are mining a resource that has a limit, we can take that coral/rock structure out of the worlds oceans faster that nature can make it.
so the hobby needs some kind of man made substitute for dead coral chunks. good looking or not walt is trying to help.

Besides, I got pukani and Walt Smith in my package and though the pukani has some neat holes and whatnot the Walt smith looks better and has more life on it by far.

Don't feed it and it will go away man. If we would all just ignore this crap, this wouldn't be an issue.

Thread back on track...

Thread back on track...

Was diving today ....fugly......3-5 foot seas with some six footers rolling in every now and then......boy am I going to miss summertime.

Water was still warm, 81 degrees.....and clear....and lots of fish on the site today.

Got a huge load of rock and sand....overloaded the boat as usual.....as this may be the last really nice day ...as I feel winter coming.....

the rock is amazing....so much so I have another 20,000 pounds of Walts rock on the way to put out on the site in the coming months...

I tried to get the movie function to work on my camera...as was going to show how rolley it was...hard to stand up on the boat today...but it did not work...just took pics instead of avi's...got to figure that out LOL

But you can see from the tilt of the boat here...she was a rolling today!

Got amazing rock today...and real live sand...ready for your tanks!

when I get a new camera I might see if you want the one I have, it takes good video and the control is super easy it's Sony point and shoot.
I am looking at getting a dslr soon...

Hey how hard would it be to catch them little tiger goby's that show up as hitchhikers ? I like them and they stay small but I have only found one or two sources for them.

yeah they are so small and so hard to spot.....
I wonder if they can spawn in captivity and if the sources I found are doing that.
there is a wholesaler that has them in a catalog but they are wholesale only,

Can't wait to pick up my order this weekend!!

Btw, thanks for all your efforts to bring us such great Florida rock all these years!

Just wanted to thank Rich for getting my order ready on his day off - Saturday! Got to meet him in person and he really is a great guy who took time from his breakfast to help me with my 4 boxes. Not too bad for $22 in gas and 2.5 hrs of my time to get some terrific looking rock! :bounce2:

Now to the pictures:

This is how they looked once I got them home. Kinda funny hearing all the sea water sloshing around in the boxes while I was driving home. :lmao:
