I have EXCELLENT news!
No, its not my new lights.
My chiller is finally working properly! PCI asked me to up the flow and sure enough it solved the problem. My chiller stayed on for 15 minutes and it did not come back on after it was finished like it usually did. It's a little cool in Houston today so I didnt want to drop the temperature to low. I also set it back to F2 which was the factory settings on the 2 degree temp difference everyone was talking about earlier (I had it at 4 until I applied this fix). Im so happy that I finally got this resolved because its such an important piece of equipment for my soon to be delicate tank.
Oh, for the record.. I purchased an AquaMedic Oceanrunner 6500 at 1700gph. I took off most of the elbows and changed it to flex pvc. It's one way in and one way out into the bathtub. I had to split the Closed Loop with this pump that was on the Dart before. I've always had great success with the Oceanrunners as I own 4 of them now.
Flow is greater in my tank also which isnt a bad thing. Just have to direct it properly so my softies wont be upset.
