I thought cars and reefs go together. Seems like most of us in this hobby tend to be drawn to expensive tastes... here I am with a brand new '07 Volvo S60R and I'm dreaming about a nice '05 or '06 997 Carrera S. Geez!

I am always telling my daughter to be careful with the magnet and the sand bottom. Maybe I should start paying her to be careful, like you

Marc, actually I dont let her feed the fishes. Once they know how to, they will feed unexpectedly without me knowing. My little one killed my nano tank and fed the entire fish container with ketchup. That right there told me I need to wait many years. They have never touched my tank. I just took this pic to show some a true life perspective of the size of the tank.

Oldtimer, nice car you have there! I love those cars too. Too many new nice cars coming out now.

H20, my daughter has asked me to clean with the magnet too, but I dont feel comfortable yet. The worst part is having my younger daughter see her and then she wants to do it. The young one is a little more of a daredevil.

yc, yes I do. I will add it in a month or so. I didnt want to make any quick drastic changes once again. Im letting everything become stable again after my last water leak incident. Is your tank the same size?

No Invincible I have a 84''L X 30''D X 24''T starphire but I will try to do an open aquascape like your's. I like BB but I want some sand in front of the island but not the whole tank because of my high flow.

Fantastic System and Great setup. Your aquascaping is amazing! I can imagine how your tank will be after a few months when your corals take off!

I wish my daughters could help me to feed my fish and clean my tank, but one is only three and the other one is 6 months. Oh well...I guess I have to wait a little bit more!

Are you planning to add any fish any time soon?

ycn, try a long low height single island to match the length of your tank. You can grow a lot of corals on it and it would look amazing.

fastfish, thank you very much. you're tank is amazing too. you and i have the same taste in fish. I tried a meredithi, scribble, flagfin, poma, majestic, mutlicolor, signapore, bannerfish, etc.. but they all had different death situations discussing them a couple pages back with pics. I want to add more angels and butterflies, but right now I have started to concentrate on corals to let them grow out as I have had great luck with them compared to fish. I've definitely been itching to purchase another angel or bannerfish lately. I've been eyeing those fish in the Chaetodontoplus family since they seem to be more safe since i plan to keep a lot of LPS/Sofites too. I really want a Heniochus bannerfish.

marc, anytime soon. I havent pulled the trigger just yet. I want to at least have the tank ready with the new stand for our next yrs Houston local tank tours. I still want to redo the garage (equipment) side of this too.

meaning I may get it done soon but I havent really jumped on it. The tank tour is probably next summer? not sure. hope you do come.
