Issue With 6100 Tunze 6100 Stream Pump

Hello,

I am encountering an issue with my 6100 or 6101 (don't remember the model number of hand) Stream pump.

These pumps are the generation right before the current 6105 Stream pumps, but are the larger (prior generation) size power head. It looks like this:

The powerhead will shut down if I increase the performance level on my Multicontroller (7095) to more than 50%. The powerhead will work fine as long as the performance level setting is at or lower than 50%.

I have two of these Stream pumps (older style powerhead) and have switched them from Channel 1 to Channel 2, and the same issue occurs on the same powerhead.

Any ideas of what could be causing this?

I appreciate any help you can provide!!!

Thank You And Have Fun!!!;
:thumbsup:

I would have to think it is a 6101 with a defective motor as I have only seen this on 6101's and not 6100's. Send it in and we will replace it.

Roger;

Thank you very much!!! I do believe it is a 6101, but I wasn't sure. Should I include any proof of purchase and/or date when I sent it in?

Thank you again!!!

If you have a receipt that would be great, the 6101 came out in June 2007, so most are under warranty just by the production date.
