its hip to be square....

You have amazing camera skills tho! If I had your skills I would post pictures all the time. But I typically use my iPhone and lackluster skills. I guess I could break out the canon 50D, since it's what I bought it for!!!

So I went with the Rapidled dual puck kit, big thanks to Mike and Jack over there for taking my countless emails and phone calls!
So here is one heatsink with the puck on it,

The new conduit, the top piece will be cut and used as cross braces.

I ordered 2 dual dimmable kits. I will link 2 leds together as shown above. Then connect the, to the drivers which will be ran off my apex.

I will program the apex ****something**** like this
Channel 1- on at noon, ramp for 2 hours to 50%
Channel 2 on at 1pm ramp for 3 hours to 40%
Channel 3 on at 1pm and ramp for 4 hours to 30%
Channel 4 on at 1pm and ramp for 2 hours to 45% (white channel)
Then channel 1 & 2 up to 65%(blue red green or something like those) from 2pm-5pm
Then channel 4(white) 45% steady from 2-5pm.
Then slowly ramp everything down. That is just an example of the first half, I would like to hear others ideas as well. The color scheme selection on here is identical to the radion so I have been looking at spreadsheets on how people are running their radions.

Lol, I know the bike is safe.....it's not ALL pink!
Yeah the lights are coming along. So far so good. Hope to have em hung and running tomorrow. The kit is nice, good quality and all!! I would have personally liked the fixture to be thinner more like the radion, but I'm not greedy

Got 2 hung up, and wiring the other two up. Then will hang them and continue to wire them to the drivers.

Yes that is a nice looking bike. Leave your hands off it Wayne.

On the lights... I do like that.

Don't make me have to pull those pics back up. Those lights are definitely cool, but my bike is cooler.:dance::dance:

We have power!!!
2 drivers aren't working so Rapidled is sending me replacement ones as well as a puck because one white diode didn't work. Once those get in they will go online and the units will be spread to get more coverage. :)

Be careful with the intensity... LED's can be like laser beams to corals that are not used to them. Start them off LOW power. Maybe use some kind of diffuser to minimize a direct beam of light. Some kind of opaque lens would be a good idea for a few days/weeks.. Just something to avoid a direct assault. I've seen it before.:hmm4:

Daniel. :wildone:

After keeping a close eye on everything so far, no real changes to post. A few grande palys look pi**ed off shortly and some coraline also looks whitish. I will follow for a few days and make any needed changes.

Thanks scott!!! I hope to have half the softy tank you do!!!!!!!! I follow yiurs very closely looking for advice and info. :). Actually me and my tank builder have talked about doubling up my tank size when I move which would be same size as yours. I love my current footprint, I couldn't imagine it being double!!!! :)
