well you only waited 4 hrs 5 mins for a responce before you got kinda smarty pants :( I would answer but I don't know and may be the case that noone else who read it did either.
To try to answer your question, yes zoas can make amazing transformations with colors but to say it will turn into XYZ color is just purly assumtion or hope. I have some beautifull zoas that are ugly in my tank for whatever reason so who knows what they will look like in someone elses tank, params and lighting. And FWIW I sell all my zoa fraggs locally to club members for $5-15. Now I don't have $50 a polyp stuff but if I only paid $40-50 for the mother colony I totally think $10 is a fair price for a average size frag, no matter what the name is.
I have the first pic you posted in my tank and it was sold to me as a watermelon zoa, at least I think it was :)

I dunno what they are but they're all really nice... they all have some good potential as well.

thanks

thanks

sorry about the smarty pants stuff just a little frustrating seeing all the people lookin and not a peep.well i dident have a name so i called them killer reds. it seemed to go over pretty well,i havent been corrected by anyone yet. thanks again :D

under poor lighting im sure they morph color. one mother colony can look different under different lighting too. or if kept insuffieciently compared to their last home, a frag can lose its color and 'brown out'. if the conditions are really poor they can bleach.

all phases of this can be found online in selling forums and on ebay (browned out/false ppe - ebay item number 280018209706 , bleached coral sold as rare morph ebay item number 200017721726 ), so yes, its confusing. thats why everyone here dislikes the naming thing. it's all dependant on 100 different factors and all of which are hard/impossible to replicate from reefer to reefer.

good luck finding your answers.

i dont have any 10 to try my bulbs are 14k phoenix but all my friends who ive givin some to still have the purple rim/skirt under pc/10k 150 / and t5 so i dont think its the lighting. im shure the 14k brings it out more because of the blue but it looks like only time will tell!!! thanks again

The ones that are forming the purplish/pinkish skirts could end up looking like this, under enough light. I had mine under 250W DE 10K AB's and VHO's when they colored up. i just hope they hold it under 175W 15K's.

The top ones are nice, but I don't know what they'd be called.
