Jackson's 115 Gallon Custom Cube 32x32x26

Very nice collection of SPS AND wrasses. I love that Naoko's! My LFS had one for $75 and I passed on it.... I regret that every day lol. Those frags are going to look great together once they grow in a bit.

Thanks. That naoko wrasse is awesome. Well behaved and he swims around with his black fins extended when he gets excited at feeding time :) I was told that they can be aggressive and the orange color fades as they grow. I dunno....we'll see :crazy1:

Hey Richard, tank looks sweet. I saw the setup and the stand on another forum. Love the stand.

Cant see clearly, but do you have a pile of rocks in the sump as additional filtration?

Thanks. I only have about 45lbs of rock in the display so I wanted more surface area for bacteria to grow. The perforated section of the sump has about 25lbs of rock rubble. It is elevated 2" so detritus can fall below and I can siphon out. The last thing I want is a detritus trap that is holding nutrients.
This tank functions like a bare bottom system. 4x mp40's and don't allow anything to settle inside the tank. Everything is swept into the filter sock.

Thanks again Fail. The left side (rear) is a large fiji rock with a few large holes. Branches were wedged in place. left side (front) is a piece of marshall island rock with a branch locked together. Right side is a bunch of branches wedged together. With the exception of the large fiji rock, I get good flow under all the rocks.

Well, it looks awesome. Well done buddy.

The reef is looking great mate, colors are vibrant and those last shots of the tank and cabinet in your home look stunning. Considering the 34 looked amazing i'll be looking forward to watching this one fill out. :)
I think the added rock in the sump for filtration was a good move mate with so little in the display - the 400W Radium and T5's are an unbeatable combination

I'd love to see a closeup of that pink table, is that the same one that was top right in the 34 gal tank.

Thanks biggles. The table is actually from the same colony. It originated from RC member 'Mshur'. Lots of guys in my area have this table. It's our local red planet :D It is still coloring up and hasn't gotten the white growth tips yet, but you can see how different it looks in my new system and old (nutrient starved) system.

My cube is 40x40x20 and just changed skimmer to the same as yours. The tank is in "rebuild" phase after two years of thoughts (lighting, aquascape...) so I am really interesed in others cubes :).

That's a nice size cube. Do you have a tank thread? I would love to see what you've got going on.

Looking good Richard! I see you use Prodibio Bioclean...how do you rate this product?

I think it's good stuff. I have 14 fish in this new tank and feed twice per day. It helps me keeps nutrients under control but I still have to run rowaphos to keep po4 where I want it. Prodibio is not zeo or vodka dosing, but it does a little something.

Unfortunatelly not yet, but hopefully it is a bit documented with pictures :), so maybe I should start it.

Please do start a cube tank thread. :) I love cube tanks...Richards 34G Solana was one of the best examples of a SPS cube tank.

Let me know the link when you start the thread.

Thanks. I've used Prodibio in the past too...in my 28G nano cube I didnt even get any algae issues and I put part of that success to the Prodibio products I used.

How about some top down shots of the SPS...and a top down VIDEO of the SPS would be awesome. :D
