Can't complain about the skimz. It is very consistent, quiet, and efficient. The small footprint and airflow is what appealed to me as well. This is my second skimz. I can't comment on customer service because both of my simmers never had issues
Thanks. I love the added blue from the LED. It gives that extra something.
Thank you. I believe the added surface area for bacteria is key for stability in a system with little live rock.
The tank is growing very well. Colors and growth have been awesome. I'm just maintaing and keeping it going. This is my busy season working so I haven't had too much time to update. On my next off day I will post pics or maybe a new video etc.

I have the rubble elevated on a acrylic platform so all detritus falls down. Since the water passed through a micron sock first, the detritus from the rock is minimal. I don't really worry much about it. I'm more worried about my 23 fish making a mess :eek2: I'm at a very thin line between deep rich colors, and browning stuff out. At this nutrient balance, I am getting some of the best colors and polyp extension that I ever had. I will get a video update ASAP.

He is a quick video update of the reef taken tonight with an iPhone. White balance came out overly blue but you get the idea 
. Just swapped out Radium bulb, and changed T5's from ATI blue+ to KZ super blue's + KZ purple. Everything has been doing very well and growth has been consistent. The tank is at the 7 month mark now. GFO has not been used in over a month a I see a big improvement in color and PE is a lot of acros. PO4 still tests 0.0 on hanna low range meter.

What's your current filtration (mech, bio and chemical) other than the Skimz SM203 (Which I am expecting to show up Friday)

Adrnalnrsh, I am using Microbe-lift special blend + Nite out II along with prodibio biodigest/bioptim. I use micron filter socks and do 18 gallon water changes about 3 times per month lately. No GFO or carbon being used at the moment.

agreed! those look best grown out in the manner you mounted it, and not as upright colonies. really shows off the multi-colors. well done.

This was done completely by chance. When I first mounted this coral it was solid blue. Nice, but normal looking :hmm5:Thanks Bello. I think the GFO was keeping me from getting the added pop. Po4 is still 0.0 on low range hanna without the GFO.Amazing as usual, Richard :thumbsup:. The colors are really popping now

What're your dosage of special blend and nite out II like? I want to get some basis to work with for my 25G tank.
I follow the directions on the bottle adding 25% more for saltwater as suggested. The first six weeks required a much higher dosage before getting to the lower maintenance level dose,
