Jacqueline's Reef 290 Build

Btw, what happened to the pictures on this thread? I can't see any of them :(

Pages 6 and 7 are gone because I changed the name of the album on photobucket not knowing it would screw things up.

Then we opened the box and suprise:thumbdown

<a href="http://s1224.photobucket.com/albums/ee367/dbuesking2/My%20290%20Build/?action=view&current=DSC05877.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i1224.photobucket.com/albums/ee367/dbuesking2/My%20290%20Build/DSC05877.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

Actually it's the MAKO 5 Stage RO/DI System 100gpd model. As you can see it's still in the box but I love it already. :frog:

*EDIT*

....and seriously a CRANE?!?!?!?!?

Do you know a better way to get it back there. I hired a rigging company to move my tank too.

What can I say.:) It goes with the territory:D I am to old to lift any more than a:beer:

Speaking of old. What the HE** happened to Capo? I miss his input.

A little elbow grease and the slash moving crew should be able get the job done no problem...

Just ask on here and you can usually get some friendly slash reefers to lend a helping hand...no crane needed.

I apologize if that sounded like an attack of some kind, you have to do what you have to do to get the job done. I was just reacting to the idea of actually needing a crane to move a tank into my home. I'm sure my wife would laugh at me and my neighbors would think I'm crazy. The tank and build are absolutely amazing and I have nothing but respect for someone with that kind of patience and attention to detail.

No apology necessary. It is crazy to think you need a crane to move a fish tank:eek2:

It was a little over kill but it was FREE:D

PS The neighbors do think I am nuts.:lmao:

Was able to finely get the repair glass and start the repair. I would never have believed that it would take 4 hours to separate 2 pieces of glass from either side of this tank. One thing for sure is I picked the right guy for the job. Brian was not going to be quit until we won the battle.:hammer: A big thanks to Brian

We only had one one place where we ended up with one tiny chip.

 Will finish the repair tonight and will try to set it next sat. Now! where was I before I was so rudely interrupted by this shipping nightmare.:headwalls:

Was able to get my top off water set and hooked up.
